Fermactiv powder 150g

The physiological intestinal flora usually reacts sensitively both to internal changes (incorrect feeding, change in feed, treatment with certain remedies) and to external influences (change in husbandry conditions, change of housing, transportation). Once balanced microbial conditions have been disturbed, the readiness of infectious pathogens and parasites to spread is increased and the risk of the development of diseases rises. Because of its key function, the intestinal flora should therefore be “cared for” as a precaution in the context of husbandry and feeding. Maintenance of the physiological balance can be assisted by feeding with complementary feed to which a high concentration of lactic acid bacteria and appropriate nutrient substrates are added.

Probiotic for biological stabilisation and regulation of physiological, microbial
intestinal flora

Feeding instruction: To ensure prompt protection of the intestinal flora by lactic acid bacteria, use of the product should be started as early as possible.
Calves up to 6 months: 10 g per 50 kg BW/day for 2-3 weeks when housing, in disturbing situations such as change in feed, transportation, heat, change of housing.
Repeat as required for at least 1 week.

Piglets up to approx. 35 kg: 5 g per 20 kg BW/day starting 1 week before weaning to 1 week thereafter.

Fattening pigs: 10 g per animal and day for 2-3 weeks when housing, in disturbing situations such as change in feed, transportation, heat, change of housing.

Breeding pigs: 10 g per animal and day starting 2 weeks before farrowing to 1 week thereafter as well as in the suckling period.

Dogs, cats:
For regulating the intestinal flora, specifically in young animals, when changing feed as well as in disturbing situations add to the feed for at least 1-2 weeks, even longer if necessary.

Dogs: 1.5 g – 5 g per animal and day

Cats: 1.5 g per animal and day
