PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Oral solution.

TARGET SPECIES
Chickens (Broilers & Breeders).

INDICATIONS
Infections caused by mycoplasma, coliform bacillus septicaemia, contagious coryza, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcus infection and mixed bacterial infections.

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Oral.
Broilers: 50 ppm (parts per million) in drinking water (corresponding to 0.5 ml of QUIMIOCOLI per litre of water). It is administered for 3 days.

ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
Prepare the medicated water for consumption within 24 hours.
Simultaneous administration with substances containing magnesium or aluminium may reduce the absorption of quinolones.
Enrofloxacin interacts with trimethoprim, sulfonamides, macrolides and tetracyclines.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in birds laying eggs for human consumption.
Do not use in birds in cases of previous streptococci infections.
Do not use in cases of resistance to quinolones as there is cross resistance between quinolones.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 7 days.

SPECIAL WARNING
Official and local antimicrobial policies should be taken into account when the product is used.
Fluoroquinolones should be used reserved for the treatment of clinical conditions which have responded poorly, to other classes of antimicrobials.
Whenever possible, fluoroquinolones should only be used based on susceptibility testing.
Use of the product deviating from the instructions given in the SPC may increase the prevalence of bacteria resistant to the fluoroquinolones and may decrease the effectiveness of treatment with other quinolones due to the potential for cross resistance.

ADVERSE REACTIONS
In prolonged treatments, malfunctions may appear in the CNS, digestive tract or urinary tract.
In young animals, complications may appear at the cartilages. Therefore it must be ensured that the treated water intake level is suitable.
If you notice any other side effects, please inform your veterinary surgeon.

SPECIAL STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in a cool place, protected from light. Do not store above 25o C.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED PRODUCTS OR WASTE MATERIALS
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
Ask your veterinary surgeon how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures should help to protect the environment.
