COMPOSITION (per gr):  
Amoxycillin (as amoxycillin trihydrate) ……………………..  150 mg

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
It is freely water – soluble, suitable for all types of potable water. Amoxycillin is a hemi-synthetic and a broad – spectrum penicillin, acting against bacterias GRAM –positive and GRAM negative. Levels of increasing resistance have been observed concerning E.coli, Salmonella typhimurium and Pasteurella haemolytica.

Calves, pigs and poultry

INDICATIONS
Calves:    Respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella spp. and Salmonella dublin.
Gastrointestinal infections caused by by E.coli. Infections caused by Salmonella dublin.
Pigs: Respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae και Streptococcus suis type II. Gastrointestinal   infections caused by E.coli.
Poultry:  Respiratory infections caused by E.coli, Haemophilus spp,
Pasteurella spp and Salmonella spp. gastrointestinal infections caused by Salmonella spp.

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Calves: 75 g per 100 liters of milk substitute or potable water twice a day, for 5 consecutive days (10 mg αamoxicillin per kg of body weight /12 hours)
Pigs: 350 g per100 liters potable water, for 5 consecutive days (40 mg αmoxycillin per kg of body weight daily)
Poultry:   150 - 300 g per 150liters of potable water, for 6 consecutive days (20 mg Amoxycillin per kg of body weight daily).
The medicated water must be replaced every 12 hours. The medicated milk replacer must be administered within the next 6 hours.

CONTRA INDICATIONS
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to penicillins and cephalosporins, to animals with serious renal disorders and other animal species not listed at the indications.
Do not administer to laying hens, whose eggs will be given for human consumption.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS
May cause reactions of hypersensitivity and damage of the natural micro-flora and gastrointestinal disorder.

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICAMENTS
Do not administer simultaneously with effective bacteriostatic antibiotics such as tetracyclines, etc

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY THE PERSON ADMINISTERING THE PRODUCT TO ANIMALS
It is recommended to use gloves and mask during the administration of the product, especially in case of known hypersensitivity to penicillin.

STORAGE
2 years in room temperature. After diluting the product into the potable water, the final solution remains stable for 24 hours, kept in temperature lower than 20 C.  In room temperature (20-250 C), the solution remains stable for 12 hours.
