COMPOSITION
Colistin (as Colistin sulfate) 2,000,000 IU

DESCRIPTION:
Concentrate for oral solution for use in drinking water.
Clear yellow brown solution.

INDICATIONS
Treatment of infections of the gastrointestinal tract caused by Escherichia coli
and Salmonella susceptible to colistin.

TARGET SPECIES:
Cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), swine and chickens

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Oral administration

POSOLOGY
Swine: 100,000 IU of colistin activity per kg body weight per day for 3 consecutive days by oral
route, i.e. 0.50 ml of product per 10 kg of body weight per day for 3 consecutive days.

Chickens:
75,000 IU of colistin activity per kg body weight per day for 3 consecutive days by oral
route, i.e. 37.5 ml of product per tonne of body weight per day for 3 consecutive days.

Cattle (calves) and Sheep (lambs):
100,000 IU of colistin activity per kg body weight per day for 3 consecutive days by oral route, i.e. 0.50 ml of product
per 10 kg of body weight per day for 3 consecutive days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat and offal: 1 days
Eggs:Zero days
Not permitted for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.

SHELF LIFE
Shelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years
Shelf-life after first opening the immediate packaging: 60 days
Shelf-life after dilution or reconstitution according to directions: 24 hours after dilution in water.
